The rain falls and darkens the cold square,
as though washing away the sorrow of that day.
Robes cling to the wind without warmth,
preserving in their ancient fabric
suffering and pain.
A chuva cai e escurece a praça fria,
como se estivesse a lavar a tristeza daquele dia.
As vestes esvoaçam ao vento, sem calor,
guardando no seu tecido antigo
o sofrimento e a dor.
